Kindergruppe

Our Kindergruppe consists of children ages 4 to 13. Some may be children of members, but we also welcome others who are interested. Besides Schuhplattler, we teach the basics of folk dancing. We also incorporate many kid-friendly activities at our Christmas parties and other events.

Our children also participate in other events that bring together Kindergruppe from various clubs. The Mid-Atlantic Kinderfest rotates among states in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Delaware and is well attended by groups from these states. See the 2017 Kinderfest page for a video of the most recent one we hosted. Our children may also participate in regional dance competitions and at Gaufests.
